Looks nice. Sounds easy. Do you think it might be too slippery though when it gets wet whilst sailing? I'm closely following you as I complete the same project on my Lugger. Thanks for sharing!
HiNot slippery at all, the cypress is open grain and the spray varnish is very thin. The photo just makes it look shiny. If I were to do it over I would just use teak oil, boat is garaged when not sailing.
