Laser Performance, current manufacturer of the Sunfish since the mid 2000s, published this rigging manual in 2008 for the Recreation and Race Sunfish. Some notable differences since 1953, the hull is fiberglass and now cored composite vs wood, spars are aluminum vs wood, sail held to booms by plastic clips vs line, new rudder assembly in 1971 and the spars are held to the mast with a bronze gooseneck vs leather yoke.
