1963 Alcort Sunfish CHIP 25 May 19 Hull Sanding and Paint

25 May 19:

Sanded CHIP's hull with 40 grit on a DeWALT random orbital sander.

Fit the bow handle.

Scarf joint.

Pattern for the hull panels, marked location for stringer screws.

Painted bow and stern with TotalBoat Elixir Flag Blue. Nice paint but we picked a color that is too dark for the vintage sail we will use.
