Where To Find Us

 13 Jul 23:

Our social media channels are quiet, out of the way boring places where we hang out with little boats. We have this Small Boat Restoration blog (http://smallboatrestoration.blogspot.com/) that we started in 2013

and a facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/smallboatrestoration/)

We also have written about 70 articles for Small Boats Nation since 2018, a digital monthly published by WoodenBoat (https://smallboatsmonthly.com/)

Each site has a search function to help find information by keywords, or post a comment and we'll respond, unless we are covered in epoxy. We also like to hear what folks are working on and what boats they are messing about in.

We are recovering from our Homeport relocation and slowly amazing the neighbors with a new Sunfish Shack, a Carriage House, Heuer Garage, work deck, boat hoist pergola and now the new lighthouse. While purportedly this structure was erected to entertain the Grand, I have mostly seen Skipper on the swings, rings and slide. A water cannon was mentioned yesterday...And pay no attention to the framing that resembles a potential boat hoist...

First customer was EXCUSE ME, despite our lack of suitable cleats...and water...

Speaking of customers, when we ring the doorbell on the clubhouse kitchen playset, Buddy the turtle, aka Capn Blueberrybeard, appears. He has taken up residence underneath the 12x20 deck/condo.

And while we haven't begged for money on Patreon, that policy may change. We'll only be asking for peanuts. We take paypal, cash, gold coins or bags of unsalted peanuts. Raw or cooked are acceptable, although we sneak a few from time to time when ringleader Bruce is focused on other matters, so cooked peanuts are the best.

We put the swing and ring beam up today, Skipper skippervised. This peanut lasted maybe 15 minutes before Bruce scampered up the A frame leg to inspect it.

As to where to find us, our water adventures are picking back up. Tidewater Virginia creeks and rivers are Skipper's targets, listen up and you'll hear her yelling "Starboard," whether she is or not.

Fair Winds,
Clark and Skipper
