Bluebird Report

The bluebirds are back, we've seen and heard them in two of the three houses. The Pensacola Lighthouse residence has been very active...

...but we haven't spotted any birds yet at Lima Signal Flag.

This house has a bunch of noise coming from it as well.

So far so good as to the squirrels and Blue Jays leaving them alone.

Birdhouse Rescue

 22 May 22:

One of our birdhouses fell over and the bottom board cracked. We brought the house into the shed and replaced the bottom with some scrap cypress.

There was a nest being built but no eggs yet, and a few days later Skipper reported that the residents had returned.

Signal Kilo Stool and Birdhouses

 19 Mar 22:

Used some spare boat paint today to finish up the shop stool and birdhouses. Here's the signal Kilo stool, for my first name initial.

There is some TotalBoat Wet Edge Black, White, Fire Red, Kingston Gray and Yellow in the mix, along with Interlux Brightside Largo Blue. We also got the North point painted.
