1965 Alcort Sunfish WAVE 10 Jan 21 First Coat Interlux Brightside Medium Blue

10 Jan 21:

Rolled and tipped the first coat of Interlux Brightside Medium Blue, used a Mighty Mini Roller kit from Jamestown Distributors and 2 inch Blue Hawk Sash brush for oil paints. Poured 1/3 quart of paint and thinned with 3 capfuls of Interlux 333 Brushing Liquid.

Hi Webb. Rolled a strip past the coaming to cover some rubbed areas. The paint should dry darker and blend, might continue and paint the entire deck, or Skipper is mulling over an idea to put a blood stripe chevron behind the coaming, tribute to riding out the storm and protecting the other boats.

Like it never happened :)

1971 O'Day Day Sailer II CYANE 05 May 19 Roll and Tip Topside Paint

05 May 19:

Used a Mighty Mini Roller kit from Jamestown Distributors with a 2 inch angled sash brush from Lowes to roll and tip the deck of CYANE with Total Boat Wet Edge Oyster White, thinned 5% with TotalBoat thinner. Rolled and tipped the sides with Pettit EZPoxy Blue Ice. Did the top first so we didn't drip on the sides.

Sprayed the cuddy wit Rustoleum Semi Gloss White.

'Merica!
