One of the reasons we enjoy boating is to spend some time with the local wildlife. Sometimes the wildlife comes to visit us. We spotted a second Carolina Box turtle patrolling our work deck area and named her Betty. Skipper brought her a snack.

You may have clicked on this post expecting to see a boat turtled, but not today. We spotted a second box turtle in the back 40, a male, so it seems there may be an entire turtle village out there. They will enjoy the new space we are building up by the Boat Works.
