09 Oct 19:
Lots of tropical disturbances boiling up in the Gulf, so we pulled WILLOW off the lift and put her under cover. We thought we were going to move her up to the Tidewater area but we couldn't get insurance written on her up there, as they just had Dorian go through a few days earlier. Ironic. The cover is holding up great, it's about 4 years old now, we snapped a few photos of the boat for insurance purposes, living near the ater is awesome!

Sorg 15 Runabout WILLOW 04 Sep 19 Detail Shots
04 Sep 19:
Getting an insurance binder on WILLOW and they wanted some current photos, here are some of the detail shots. We like these photos because they show the equipment that we carry vs some glamor shots we see where it looks like a boat show.
Log of WILLOW.

1957 Sorg 15 WILLOW 12 Jul 18 Mess About
12 Jul 18:
First time we've done genealogy research by boat, Skipper's Aunt and Uncle had a camp house on the water nearby 60 years ago. Pretty sure we found it. WILLOW was the support boat, she wanted to fast on the ride home in 98F heat index.

Willow Has A USB Port
Picked up Willow from Lou's Marine, Gary did a great job fitting a new stern light and automatic float switch for the bilge pump. Battery wiring was lengthened as well so it can be moved for bilge maintenance. Another thing we did was add a power port for accessories (searchlight) and a USB port to keep our smart phone charged up. I cut the mounting panel from some scrap marine grade okume and Gary did the install. I asked him to sign the back of it so now he is officially part of the boat's history.
