The halyard jammed on our flagpole just before Hurricane Sally and we were unable to get the flag down safely. It rode out the storm, but got shredded. We rescued part of the flag back in September but there were some bits snagged on upper pier hardware. Today the dock planks went down and we could finally get airborne to rescue the rest of the flag. The bits will be framed.
