Shade Sail

We get tree shade on the work deck until late afternoon, the sun sets over the blue house in the distance at the Summer Solstice. The shed provided the tiniest slice of shade that The Usual Visitors commandeered, leaving me with one tree trunk to sweat behind. So we added a shade sail repurposed from retired Sunfish parts...retired until we get another Sunfish needing a rig :) 

I added 2 mast steps to the side of the deck, the first one shown below was on the wrong feng shui end. The steps will be good spots to check rigging and dry out sails. Plus we can train new crew on rigging.
