Different saw blades are required depending on the type of material being cut. For fine cuts one materials like laminates or nice plywood, more teeth are needed. To chop up exterior dimensional lumber a framing blade does the trick.
I changed the blade on the little 20V deWALT today, and not only does it cut smooth it is als quiet. I think the old blade was just bludgeoning the lumber to death.
