1877 Schooner GOVERNOR STONE Capsized Panama City, Florida

13 Oct 18:

The 1877 Schooner GOVERNOR STONE broke loose and capsized in Panama City, Florida during Hurricane Michael. The boat will be recovered and repaired, right now efforts are focused on tending to the crew. There is a donation button on their facebook page, it would be nice if our wooden boat community helped them out a bit.

10 Nov 18:

GS strapped, lifted, rolled and placed on the hard. Steering gear and cabin gone, but the hatch covers were located. Not sure about the status of the sail rig, but the marina is boomed to capture items that might try to float out.
