Skipper's Dad Capn Jack made some nice soft sail ties for the Lugger 40 years ago, from macrame cord. We'd like some more for the Armada and Skipper found some vintage cord that will work.
The macrame is a flat braid, and 3 strands woven together make a nice piece. The braid is stretchy so it will not abrade the sail. We braided 3 pieces and whipped the ends.
