Bevin's Skiff...the advertised sail rig option is a leg o' mutton, and the Bevin's Skiff in the photo shows a sprit rig. We are considering building one for this year's Virginia Sail 250 Maritime Rendezvous, as a way to demonstrate a variety of traditional small craft building methods to Rendezvous attendees. But I balk a little at the 16+ foot mast. Has anyone experimented with a gunter rig?
