A Few Books From Our Library

We're still sorting flotsam and jetsam produced by our recent change of station, and came across a few books that needed to be thrown on top of the library pile. Skipper and Capn Jack collected the Chapelle books when they were doing research on USS ONKAHYE. 

Here's a very comprehensive book by Brooks and Hill, John has been an Instructor at the WoodenBoat School so it is safe to say he knows a trick or two.

I bought this book to reference about 8 knots. I'm not sure what to do with the other 3892 knots...

The cool thing about building a boat is you cna do it your way, and if someone else doesn't like it...

A very well written of the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company and family history by Maynard and Carlton. Mostly photos with captions, which is how we like it. Lots of small boats, specifically ones that the family used, in addition to the yachts.
