Most small boaters like to "mess about" but we get even closer to shore and "muck about." We have the Muck boots to prove it. Most of our fleet only requires 8 inches of draft to float, including the Drascombe Lugger. Maybe it was my Marine Corps amphibious assault heritage, or Skipper's family history of mucking about along the lagunas of South Texas, dating back to the 1840s, when a Great+ Aunt was mucking about surveying the coastline.
We hope that 2022 offers plenty of opportunities for you and yours to get out there.
